Fútbol Shoe Fun!

Over the last few years we have been receiving many pairs of soccer shoes and we have been holding on to them for the right opportunity. For anyone with soccer kids, you know that these shoes are expensive and kids grow out of them yearly!
We found our perfect match! Saturday, February 11th Cheryl’s Shoebox had a great day out in a rural colonia of Magisterio with 25 fútbol loving kids.
The program not only teaches the beloved sport of Mexico but also focuses on after school education including English class to every child! This soccer program is sponsored by Community Impact and assisted by Pastor Luis.
Cheryl’s Shoebox is happy to announce we will be continuing to support this program throughout the year and all 75 children in the program.
We would like to thank our volunteers for the day and hope you had as much fun as we did.
